Best joke of 2009, and it's true!

I absolutely love this joke and that's why I want to immortalize it on my blog. So I can come back and read it every now and again and laugh my socks off.

I am an Afrikaans guy, and love my Afrikaans music. Buth there are some Afrikaans musicians which just make me hang my head in shame.

Heard this on Jakaranda, Darren Scott announced that Kurt Darren's new album has gone platinum within something like the first 24hours of it being released. This is absolutely true, I'm not exactly sure about the hours, but it was definitely within a record time. Then the lady that presents with Darren, not sure what her name is but she's Afrikaans, says something like: "Wow, ek kan dit nie glo nie. Dis onmoontlik dat iemand so baie famielie kan he."

Freaking funny!!! I love it, hahaha!

Yup, it's just us & 3 locals. I guess thats a Saturday night in Belfast for you (in the off season). Watching rugby, NZ vs Whales, hope the southern hemisphere triumphs!

Ya we can't help it. Playing with our toys makes us forget all about our aching bodies from the long run.

Gaan nou lekker warm bad vat en dan n smullige aandete by die local kroeg gaan soek. Hmmm miskien is dit soos 'Merlott's' in True Blood my liefie, haha.

The wind is howling together with a slight drizzle. This is gonna be one to remember. Wish i had tights to run with now.

Oh it was tough, but lots of fun! Raining for 5 of the 6 hours. We had to put our heads down & run hard to the end, still came 3 minutes late which will incur a 3 point penalty.

Belfast & ready to go.

Ons het by ons bnb aangekom in belfast. Die tannie is nice: het vir ons gese dat sy bekommerd oor ons was (ah hoe nice). Maar sy't ook gese ons mag nie ons fietse in bring nie, want vorige mense het fiets olie orals binne een van die eenhede gemors.

Bestuur hier na toe het so vinnig gegaan. Tony is n baie interessante ou. Hy het al n huis laat bou, het al ge'ski' en 'n klomp ander cool dinge gedoen. Nou ontspan ons rustig op ons beddens. Dink ek gaan gou n stort, askies, bad vang (hiet is net n bad) en dan lekker in kruip. Hierdie Belfast is n koue plek, ons het albei langmou toppe aan.

Ek en Tony het al alby baie keer deur belfast beweeg, maar dis die eerste keer dat enige van ons van die hoofpad deur belfast af gewyk het. Sien nogal uit om die ander deel van die dorpie in die daglig te sien.
